From the article: Mr. President: Just Say No to Twitter
Through easily guessed admin passwords and insecure handling of admin account credentials, Twitter has been the victim of some pretty easy to carry out hacks. One account that's been repeatedly accessed belongs to President Barack Obama. This begs the question, should President Obama be twittering, or do the Twitter security risks outweigh the rewards?
Hell No
- The president should not tweet, any one with that much power shouldn't tweet. The president, Congress and other government officals shouldn't be using things like twitter or any other socail media web site. Whatever, I think it is wrong, but do want you want.

Ha.
- If he has time to twitter, he has time to figure out what to do about this mess the FORMER pres put him in. It's too early to judge how good he is, but I'm just glad for a change in pace (even if that pace is significantly slower, at least he hasn't screwed up yet), and I'm so against all this facebook/twitter thing anyway. People, I think everybody should just get off their butts and leave twitter for others that literally can't pick up a stupid phone for their life. I mean how many people die each year because they're telling the world how suckish their lives are?? (I'll give you a hint: a lot.)

THE PRESIDENT & TWITTERING
- I don't think that THE PRESIDENT OF THIS COUNTRY should be TWITTERING. It's not SAFE for anyone... let alone OUR COMMANDER Of THE UNITED STATES Of AMERICA. Why...Because People "FOLLOW YOU" on Twitter. People already know that TWITTER has "ISSUES", so why would anyone use it. people you don't want to know where you are CAN find you. RAPE,BEAT,ROB, AND KILL YOU! I was one that helped President Obama take the seat as our PRESIDENT. BUT.....Making yourself vulnerable, DOES NOT ...PROTECT YOU, THEREFORE IT DOES NOT PROTECT " us( the people of this country). DON"T get me wrong I still support our President. I just think he is trying TOO hard to be "Just like all of us" Mr. Obama you are not "just like all of us" NOT ANYMORE.NOT AS LONG AS YOU ARE OUR LEADER. Your leaving yourself, your lovely wife, and your precious daughters in a VULNERABLE position. I believe that word describes it best. VULNERABLE=Open to physical or emotional harm. The MILITARY"s calls it: OPEN TO ATTACK.MAY GOD BLESS

Should Obama twitter?
- If he doesn't twitter, what would he do? He doesn't know how to do anything else.

Should President Obama be Twittering
- There is nothing wrong with a president twittering. If he is taking care of this country which he is then there is nothing wrong. He is just trying to be apart of what us teens are doing in these days, none of the other presidents never did it...but Obama is different, and i like that.

To Twit or not to Twit
- Should Pres. Obama be Twittering? Sure! What is it going to hurt? It Saves Time, in a job like his time is crucial. btw: I do not twitter, but if the President can benefit from technology...he should!

he can and he should
- it would be nice for him to tweet because this would give him a chance to know what the common man thinks about his policies and the president himself. I am not asking him to reveal the secrets but he should know the general opinion.

- The President should spend his time hearing key staff instead twittering or spending so much time on TV. I know he really likes seeing himself on TV, but believe me, we VIET Vets see the same thing happening. Will the elected officials ever learn from hisxtory. MSG Byrd ret

Not in the our best interests
- Like almost everything he does, this will probably contribute to the weakening of our nation. A weak president + idiotic policies = disaster.

He should get rid of his Twitter account
- Even if he is not personally tweeting or not often, the security risk (like knowing his location) is too great. If impersonators can get into his account and tweet and the IP address can be located, someone who wants to blow up the president, could target that location and cause a lot of people harm. And why should his staffers waste their time tweeting for him at the taxpayers' expense?

NO WAY
- He should not even think about it, nor his wife or children. It is far beneath the demeanor of the leader of the most powerful country in the world. If he has the time and inclination for this, he has no regard for the importance of this job. He can twitter when he is back doing social work in Chicago!

- This is the direction we are heading with communication technology. It's not just for celebrity news. It's the future of tranparency in government. Today email and websites are outmoded ways of communicating. I'm glad the president is on twitter - just like the author of this article is.

Please "NO" tweets, Mr. President
- NO tweets because China, North Korea, and Iran are reading them all. They would love a "slip up". Twitters have too much time on their hands!
- —drmom50
He's not your average "celebrity".
- He''s not a "celebrity". He's the head of the Government of the most powerful nation in the world. For many reasons, his security should be uppermost in everyone's mind - not whether you can read something cute about his kids or dog, etc. Gov't things can be disbursed thru Press Conferences, and we'll have them, within minutes. That's good enough.
