My Review 

Ok, McAfee slows my computer to no end. When I turn on my computer, I just go to the bathroom or get something to eat or drink while it boots so that McAfee can do it's thing. It hardly ever detects viruses, have never seen any spyware/adware detected, as it updates and scans it, once again, slows my computer so that it's barely usable and I just cancel the updates or scans. Looking for a new AV program. So far, after reading all reviews, Webroot seems to be THE ONE with the highest ratings over all other AV software, including Norton. After reading the reviews about free AV, I'm not seeing anything that is remotely appealing in terms of detecting, targeting, isolating, and removing viruses, spyware, adware or anything else. Nor do I see anything that promises to NOT SLOW DOWN MY COMPUTER at anytime, whether in booting up, websurfing, chatting, email, and logging off. I'll just keep my McAfee for now, but since it stinks, I'm downloading and installing Microsoft Security Essentials and will use that til I get some money to buy Webroot. When will there be an AV program that is, at the very least 90% effective at cleaning, maintaining computers as well as easily detecting viruses, spyware, adware, malware, etc, and still allow our computers to run smoothly, clearly, without any issues and at a low cost? IS that even possible? Geesh. Sorry, I am really frustrated. Just had to vent. Have a good day.
