How To Prevent Cache Timer Brower History Sniffing in Firefox

Cache timer attacks can enable remote website operators to determine other sites you've visited on the Web. Here's how to prevent cache timer browser history sniffing in Firefox.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: Less than 2 minutes
Here's How:
  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Click Tools then select Options.
  3. On the Privacy tab, change Keep my history for at least X days to zero.
  4. Also on the Privacy tab, check Always clear my private data when I close Firefox then click the Settings button to the right of that option.
  5. Under Settings, make sure each option is checked. (If you wish to preserve saved passwords, leave the saved passwords option unchecked).
  6. Click OK to accept the change.
