How to Access the Windows Task Manager

The Windows Task Manager is a built-in utility that lets you view the running processes, applications, services, and users on your computer. There are a few different ways to launch the Windows Task Manager. Here are the two simplest methods.

Here's How:

  1. First method: Press the CTRL SHIFT ESC keys simultaneously and then release. Task Manager should open.
  2. Second method: Click Start | Run, type in taskmgr.exe and press Enter. Task Manager should open.
