Panda takes free antivirus to a whole new level with Panda Cloud Antivirus. The only free cloud-based scanner, Panda antivirus software takes all the processing off your PC, giving you a lighter, faster, and more proactive antivirus protection. Or for for a very low price you can upgrade to Panda Cloud Antivirus Pro and gain additional features (including extended USB protection) as well as 24/7 tech support.

Panda Antivirus Features

Panda Cloud Antivirus uses a community-based approach to quickly identify new threats spreading via the Web. Processing of these new threats is done in-the-cloud, saving your system resources and making for a lighter - and far more proactive - antivirus software.

The free Panda Cloud Antivirus provides a full range of protection, from antivirus and antispyware to behavior blocking and rootkit detection. Panda Cloud Antivirus even protects while you're offline. An added bonus, Panda Cloud Antivirus disables the ill-advised autorun feature in Windows that has led to a tremendous population of autorun worms.

Panda Cloud Antivirus Pro extends the protection offered in the free version by providing automatic USB vaccination and 24/7 tech support. Panda Cloud Antivirus Pro retails in the U.S. for only $29 USD for a year's license. Or if budget is an issue, get the free Panda Cloud Antivirus - either way, you can't go wrong.

Excellent, excellent, Panda antivirus!, Member susie.sharp

I used to have AVG Free on my guys' machines at work. When it scanned, it took huge resources, slowing down their CAD work, so they would just turn off the scanning. And a computer repair guy put MicroSoft Essentials on my boss's machine, which which promptly let in a half dozen viruses, causing the loss of the machine for a day. Panda is light on the resources, and you can't tell when it's scanning. After a year I dumped paid Norton on my home machine and installed Panda. I'm extremely happy, though I do periodically run Malware Bytes and other virus scans to double and triple check.
