Description: On the first day of each month, if it is 1800 (6pm) hours or later, an alert box will be displayed and Windows will be shut down.
What to look for: Search for kak.htm in the Windows directory. Search the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE registry key: \SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\ for the value: cAg0u
How to prevent it: Kak takes advantage of a security vulnerability. Install the Microsoft patch to prevent Kak.
