Executable file extensions

What you can't see, can't hurt you, right? Wrong. In the case of file extensions, it's specifically what you can't see that does the most damage. By default, Windows suppresses executable file extensions - leaving you at the mercy of those who disguise the file type to trick you into opening email attachments. Follow these steps to configure Windows for better security.
