Though Netsky.L through Netsky.P seemed determine to prove it was just a worm, Netsky.Q - discovered March 29th - is back to earlier tricks. Netsky.Q removes several registry keys responsible for launching various worms, including several Bagle variants. Netsky.Q also avoids sending itself to domains associated with antivirus vendors, a routine found in earlier Netsky variants.
