For the most part, I try to shop local and support local businesses. But sometimes, particularly around the holidays, the convenience of online shopping wins out. And judging from the many UPS and FedEx deliveries in my neighborhood this time of year, I suspect many other folks do the same. That means, a lot of people might be waiting for packages and thus might be more prone to believing a UPS or FedEx package delivery scam when it arrives in their inbox.

I wish I could shop locally, but unless it is food shopping, and even then I can’t always get what I want, where I live is a dead loss.
I would have thought folks would have twigged these scams by now. They seem to have been doing the rounds for the last two or three years at least, even here in the UK.
At one time I lived so far out in the wilderness that it took us 24 hours to get radio!
Ordering online was and is the best way at times. Sometimes, it is the only way.
We need to be mindful and use our minds at all times. Its a little bit like buying fish. If it doesn’t look right or it smells funny…back off.
