Autorun Worms

Autorun trojans (often referred to as autorun worms or an autorun virus) are a frequent companion to backdoors and password stealers. The autorun component allows the infection to spread via removable drives (such as USB thumb drives), as well as via fixed and mapped drives. Disabling autorun will prevent the spread of autorun malware, but thanks to Windows, the method to disable autorun may not be as straightforward as it seems. Here are the steps to really disable autorun:
