Apple Bites into Antivirus; Spits it Out

In a rather schizophrenic move, Apple began recommending Mac antivirus software to its Mac users in mid-November, then removed the recommendation for marketing reasons a couple of weeks later. While Apple focuses on their marketing needs, the folks at Intego continue to focus on the Mac user's security needs - reporting the discovery of yet another variant of the OSX.RSPlug Trojan.
