Lori Drew Gets Slap on Wrist for Role in Suicide
Wednesday November 26, 2008
Two years ago, 13-year-old Megan Meier hung herself as a result of a cruel cyberhoax carried out via MySpace. Federal prosecutors brought felony charges against Lori Drew, the 49-year-old woman who orchestrated the hoax. Today, a jury - which claimed to be deadlocked after only 6 hours of deliberation yesterday - all but acquitted Drew, finding her guilty only of the three midemeanor charges in the case. One has to hope the looming Thanksgiving holiday didn't contribute to that seemingly hasty verdict.

I think that’s pathetic! She should have got a jail sentence! It’s almost as bad as pedophelia, she was praying on an innocent tenager!
While her judicial punishment is not satisfying in the least, on a personal level she has paid dearly. She has been expoised all over the world for being a total pig. She has has her face, home address, business address, and all phone numbers published on the net for all the world to see. Her husband and children have been exposed as well…
I don’t think a prision sentence would have hurt her as much.
