Postcard from Hallmark Virus Hoax

Wednesday October 1, 2008
The Postcard from Hallmark Virus Hoax continues to be spammed from mailbox to mailbox. The reason for its continued success: to gain legitimacy, the hoax references a poorly worded (and somewhat inaccurate) 'virus warning' from Snopes. For details, see the Postcard from Hallmark Virus Hoax.

Thank you for some of the most useful internet information and links I have seen for a long time! I wish many people read this information before they forward everything with an alarming subject WARNING, VIRUS ALERTS, FORWARD IMMEDIATELY etc! I was an offer for spoofing a couple of months ago and had a HELL with all the e-mails I received from people whom thought I had sent it. I will inform my friends about your information and hope they also will get good use of it.
