First Ever iPod Virus Just Isn't

Saturday April 7, 2007
Too much ado is being made about the alleged first ever iPod virus. It just isn't an iPod virus. It's a virus that infects .elf files on iPod Linux installations on an iPod. So raise your hand if you installed iPod Linux. Alright, the rest of you can stop reading. The two of you that installed iPod Linux are also safe, since the 'virus' is (a) so badly broken, the bugs keep it from working, and (b) it's just a proof of concept that exists in a lab environment.
