Snoopware Goes Mobile

Friday March 31, 2006
Antivirus vendor F-Secure is warning of a new threat to mobile users. The Flexispy.A Trojan is the first commercial spying application for the Symbian OS. According to F-Secure, Flexispy.A records details of all voice call and SMS information, and then later send those details to the FlexiSpy server. This type of software can be used by spying spouses or by criminals intent on blackmail or espionage. F-Secure has a mobile portal just for smartphone users. Visit http://mobile.f-secure.com/ from your mobile device to download F-Secure Mobile Anti-Virus and to keep on top of the latest threats to mobile devices.
