Lycos urges: Make LOVE not SPAM

Sick of spam, that ubiquitous unwanted email clogging your inbox? Apparently, so is the search giant Lycos Europe. The company is offering a free screensaver in limited areas (the UK version is now available) that launches a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack against spammer's machines. Lycos Europe claims they've taken steps to ensure the sites aren't actually brought down, but rather simply slowed. The MakeLOVEnotSPAM website even features an 'annoy a spammer now' button. Reactions have been mixed and many legal questions have been raised.
