Mydoom, Mimail.R, Novarg, Shimg virus

The Mydoom, a.k.a. Mimail.R, a.k.a. Novarg, a.k.a. Shimg virus is wasting no time spreading worldwide. So many copies of the email worm are circulating that many are calling it the biggest of all time. But the number of worm emails pales in comparison to the number of erroneous warning messages the antivirus vendors are sending. While Mydoom is officially charged with launching a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack against well-known UNIX vendor SCO, others are saying the real DoS is from the antivirus vendors.
